They are called unions. You can find them at Lowes or Home Despot

If I kept a true running cost Id be talking to you from beyond! Never leave a paper trail!
If you think the PVC unions are spendy, check ou the true union ball valves, THEY are expensive. (but you cant get them at HD)

I got 8 of 1/2 and 8 of 3/4! At 2 something a peice!

Ok one more question.... the little O ring inside is that all it needs for water not to seap out? Should I run alittle bead of silicone in it? Or the O ring will do its job?

(yea picked up those things and I forgot the Ts for the plumbing! made me mad...I am going to plumb up this tank on friday and want to make sure I have everything.... So far I just need the Ts...I spent over 60.00bucks so far on plimbing supplies just to get a 30L plumbed up to a 20L SUMP!)

Just the o-ring, no silicone. $60.00? Make sure you dry fit it all first and maybe get some extra fittings and another stick of PVC, that will hel;p reduce those frustrating trips ! Good luck and be sure to post some pics.

I always lay out all the fttings on the floor in Home Depot in the fashion in which they will be plumbed. That way I can make sure that I have everything I need before I leave HD. I can't tell you how many times this has saved me from leaving without some tee or 90% fitting.

I drawed it on a peice of paper and took it there...just overlooked it....I bought plenty of pvc..bought 2 sticks more then needed and on 90s 45s etc I got 4 more then needed!

(The 60.00 is what I have spent on plumbing parts so far on a 30L with a 20L sump.)

Before I plumb this up I am going to make sure that I have everything....My guess Is I am not going to have to make one trip to HD when I get this going!

Bad thing is, PVC and parts are cheap!!!!! I did a few different mock ups on both my tanks when building, I have no idea how much I spent on that stuff!!
