Fishless reef (?)

i have a 75gal reef up for about 6months. full of zoas, softies, lps & sps with well over 150lbs of LR

i only had one blue jeweled damsel that i found dead tonight (prob because i was on a 1week vacation last week & i overfed him 2 weeks prior, then nothing for a week)

what happens if i decide to go FISHLESS from here on out? to concentrate on just coral.

1) do i need to have fish in order to continue the cycling process?
2) would i still need a skimmer?
3) i also run carbon, would i discontinue that?

Carbon will help with your chemical warfare between corals. No biggie, I only run it once a month MAYBE. You dont need fish. But you will still need water changes. Your skimmer will only help, you will need to feed your corals. But now you can control what they eat, and you dont HAVE to feed them like you do fish. Sounds like a good idea really.

i actually dose ESV 2part b-ionic alk & calcium buffer everyday....
and do a 15gal water change every Saturday.

i'm running two 250w MH 20ks over the 75

i'm really really interested in doing a fishless reef....but only if does NOT effect my coral.
