Hey I just started a 30 gallon reef tank with a yellow tang, a hippo tang, yellow watchman, 2 shrimp, and 2 other gobies. I have been feeding cyclop-eeze flake, and some sea weed. I know that I need to varie there food and was wondering what else I should feed them and how often they should be feed? I also have been feeding my corals Photoplex about 4 times a week and adding Coral-Vite once a week. Do I need to feed them anything else as well?

are you planning on getting a larger tank soon? it is not recommended that you put tangs in a tank that is not 48" long. they require a lot of swimming room and 48" seems to be the bare minimum.

what a lot of us like to feed our tanks is blender mush. it is just a bunch of seafood favorites from the seafood counter at the local supermarket. thrown into a blender and pulsed a couple of times. just enough to break it up, but not enough to liquify it. then freeze it into little chucks to be thawed later.
