can i mix a yellow watchman goby with a mandarin goby? i like them both and want to put them in my 65 reef tank. can i do this?

My own opinion on mandarins is that I wouldn't put them in a tank under 120 gallons (with lots of LR and no pod-eating competitors).

That said, it has been done successfully. I just wouldn't do it myself.

this tank is full of pods...rediculous amounts....im sure he would have plenty of food

they are compatible, just keep in mind that a mandarin will destroy a pod population very fast. people recommend large tanks so there is enough space for the pods to reproduce without getting preyed upon.

last night under flashlight just on one clam i spotted 20+ pods, everywhere i looked i saw more and more i think the mandarin would be happy, between the tank and sump there is 150lbs of live rock
