Oh, I thought you just meant in means of what its capable of. Of course I will test it to make sure its not defective. And why does anything go on sale? Things that go on sale are not alwaybe because they are old and defective.

(edit) oh and the cells were at 90% when I first powered it up, so I highly doubt its old.

Anything with a battery should have manufacture date, a ship date, or an expiration date. And I didnt say everything that went on sale is old and defective. But SOME things that go on sale are just that... old and defective. Im just saying check it before you actually need it. That way you can take it back if it does turn out to be so. But whatever, good luck with it.

Thanks .... I will test it anyways, and post my results ... if it was crap, I could always return it.

Yep. Better to do it than it being too late. It'll all probably check out find. But its better to know than to worry when the power does go out again.

tested today, plugged it back in after 5 hours, it still had about 20% left on the batteries at that point. It was running my 2 power heads and my heater. Looks like it will do the job rather well
