Finally got an RO/DI unit

Got sick and tired of running out to get RO water every 4 days so I finally bought an RO/DI unit. I also was noticing that I had what looks like the begining of hair algea growing on some rock. I have been blowing off all the dead spots on the rock and been doing regular water changes and skimming wet so I figure it had to be the purchased RO water. I guess I will see in a few weeks if the hair algea is gone. I also think I am going to bring in a sample of my water and a sample of the water I was buying to work and have the lab rats run some test on it for comparison.

HAHAHA Thanks Patrick,

No id did not come with a TDS meter but I am going to get one. In the mean time I think I am going to get the lab at my work to check the TDS and Phosphate levels. (they have all the good stuff for checking what is in water!)

I think 5 gals is fine too. Be sure to keep that in mind when you replace the filters too
