Finally...Fish!

Hey everybody,
I just started to put some fish in my 90 Gallon Reef. It feels so good to not have to look at just live rock all the time. I put 2 clowns, 1 sandsifter, 1 Jawfish, 20 Hermits and 10 snails. The only problem that I had is that the snails must have been a bad batch because they didn't move for 4 days and also the Jawfish died. Don't know how, but happened to see some hermits feasting on him. Other than that my clowns are doing great and my sandsifter is awesome. Hermits do a bit of hiding, but most of them put on a good show. I wanted to put a maxima clam, fire shrimp and an anemone for the clowns in there, but they tell me that the tank needs to wait about 4 more months. What a disappointment

Ditto, watcg your peramters cause that much of an increase in the bio-load could over load the bacterias ability to process the waste. Its best to add things slowly so the bacteria can adjust to the demands on them.

Good deal. The sand sifter (goby I assume?) should have a tank with a 6 months to a year on it. Make sure you somehow inject food into the sand, or get food too him another way; be careful not to feed too much tho. Sounds like you have a good LFS, anemones need a seasoned tank. You can get away with the shrimp now, but you should wait a week or two first.
