Finally, A New Aquarium Magazine
Fellow Aquarists,
http://www.advancedaquarist.com
We are pleased to announce a new magazine dedicated to furthering the aquarium hobby. This publication will be a joint venture between Reefs.org and Terry Siegel - founder of Aquarium Frontiers. In keeping with the strict standards of accuracy and fact-checking Terry Siegel brought to Aquarium Frontiers, Craig Bingman has again been enlisted as the magazine's Science Editor. Many of the leading contributors to Aquarium Frontiers whose work has been sadly missed since that periodical ceased publication will be authoring material for Advanced Aquarist's Magazine Online. You can also expect to see material from many other new leading authors and hobbyists.
The magazine will be published on the web under the auspices of Reefs.org and supported through advertising sponsors. The magazine will be open to everyone, to the betterment of the hobby as a whole. Advertisers interested in having their materials run in Advanced Aquarist's Magazine Online should contact Terry Siegel at tbsiegel@advancedaquarist.com

Thanks Chucker,
Sure glad to see this project come together! Aquarium Frontiers has been sadly missed and I look forward to the first issue!

FINALLY!!!
It has gotten to the point that FAMA has been little more than a mouthpiece for Marc Weiss, I noticed that even die-hard Julien Sprung hasn't written for them lately. This fills a needed void in the literature, hopefully it will fall between the hard-core scientific lit and FAMA, but still hold to Terry's high standards! I look forward to the first issue!

Hey Doug, it is expected to be released in the middle of January. Should be good. I remember when AF was out, Lisa and I would check every day for the new issue and when it came sit and read it "cover" to "cover". It was disappointing when it went out of circulation.
