Filter for well water

As I am planning out the new tank in my mind, I realized that my current RO unit might not cut it. Our house uses well water, and my RO unit is the Kent 24gpd. My current plan is to install my existing 75 as a sump/refugium/calurpa forest in the basement. I should be able to saddle-valve a filter on close to the tank, so I could somehow set up and auto-topoff. But what filter? Any suggestions would be great!

Scott, do what I do, pick up the phone and call SpectraPure or Kent and ask them.

I have been using well water and a Kold Ster-il system from Marine Monsters. My tank is doing great and all my rreadings have been good too. YOu get no waste water with it.

We are the same as Homer, we have a Home Depot prefilter then a Kold-Sterile then a DI at the end of that. We in the norhtland have VERY hard water with HIGH alk which does not hurt the tank if you know what look for. I would recomend looking at that system. If you have any more questions please ask.

I know what you mean Jon, when the tank was a FW FO using tap, I could practically bounce quarters off the top.
