Feedback on Trigger

havent seen many postings here in regards to people having triggers in their tanks. my lfs has a good sale going on them right now (the humu trigger) and was curious how they get along with other tank mates. right now i have a lawnmower blennie, royal gramma and cleaner shrimp. a six line wrasse and coral beauty in the future. the lfs told me triggers will get along fine in tank, but when i researched online, the trigger is labeled as an aggressive fish. sure lfs will tell you anything to make a sale. just looking for feedback from people who have them how they are in tank with other fish. i have 55 gal with 90lbs lr.

Dont do it.

That shrimp and gramma will be gone in a matter of days. They do fine if the tankmates are the same size; triggers grow fast along with their appetite.

That tank is too small for a humu regardless I wouldn't do it especially if you ever want any inverts

Thats the truth about a LFS telling you anything to make a sell. They sold me a Butterfly and they were like ohh he will have no problem with your other fish. WRONG, my yellow tang killed the poor fish. i made them give me credit for the fish. ~Tim~

thanks for info. i surely will not get now. probally reason they knocked price from $38 down to $12.99 , they cant get rid of them until some unsuspecting new reefer like myself comes along and likes look of fish and buys w/o doing research on the fish.

It can go in a FOWLR.I use to have a FO tank and a Niger trigger and he was great.I use to hand feed him.If I start a FO tank again that would be a must!
