Favia help

My favia is receeding and I'm not sure what to do to fix it. Its midway in the tank under MH and has medium flow. We've been spot feeding cyclopeze, but the mouths stay open no matter what and the tissue keeps sinking in. The skeleton is not yet visible, but something is obviously wrong. Any suggestions? Less light? Flow? etc...

Is it shaded at all or out in a brightly lit area?

My Favia did much better after I shaded it. It had almost completely bleached under my VHO's but ever since I shaded it it has gotten all of its color back and even started growing back it's tissue.

I have one that is mostly shaded. It is doing very well. Is there anywhere you can move it out of direct light?
