Farming Coral

I have a 6" tall toadstool leather soft coral. I was reading about coral farming. Does anyone have any experience growing these?

I read about making a cut at the base down to the coral's core and letting it heal. Does a new bud grow off that?

I have a 30 gallon all setup and I would like to make a rack up to grow some coral. I want to farm that coral.

Any advice from experienced users? What is the easiest one to grow?

There are several different ways to go about propagation. IMO you should read them all and figure out what works for you....
