Well, I hear it's pretty difficult to get clowns to host anemonies in an aquarium in the first place. Biggest reason is that, in the wild, clownfish host in anemonies mainly for protection from predators. There are no large predators present in a reef system where most aquarists would house anemonies or clownfish so they just really have not much of a reason to host as they do not feel threatened. I personally have not housed any anemonies yet, just clownfish, but that is what I've learned from research. It may decide to host again in the future. Just give it time.
