B12 and Cortisone? Are you making Andy Pettitte jokes, or is this for real. I did a quick search as I had never heard of it. If you are joking, I'd hate a Noob reading and dosing crushed up B12 tablets....

If it is for real, what benefits/dosing/etc?

It was a total joke... I've heard of folks using HGH in reef tanks (seriously), though, so I was playing on the whole steroids/baseball circus. I don't dose anything fancy to the tank (just calcium and alkalinity).

I agree that I wouldnt want anyone to take that literally and give it a whirl, but anyone dumb enough to hear something in passing and decide to haphazardly dump odd chemicals into a tank probably has it coming.

note: I just did a quick search and came up with this.....im not saying all of the tanks at that link will be using human growth hormone. but it is widely used in europe

You have to search through that thread a little to find which ones use and don't use HGH (or other dosing methods, like zeovit). Like Fly Guy says, don't assume which methods are being used, read the thread.

Like I would waste perfectly good HGH on corals....I could be a .400 hitter and a gold glover and have Fly Guy on staff to take care of my tanks....

If Only!
