EuroReef CS8-3 for my 125?

Would the EuroReef CS8-3 be a good option for my 125g with a 40g sump.

Euro-Reef makes great skimmers. No idea if that one is big enough for a 125. I know that you really cannot go too big.

I love my CS6-1 skimmer. As for the CS8-3? That skimmer according to Euro Reef will skime 200 gallons. If your are not planning to get a bigger tank you will be fine with that skimmer. Euro Reef rates their skimmers on the lower end. Basically saying they can use it on a 200 gallon but you could get away with a larger tank.

I will say it again. I really like my euro reef. Easy to use. The only thing I would do it add the gate valve mod. That way to adjust the skimmer you just turn the valve instead of the riser tube. Its about $40 but easy to do.

You can easily make that gate valve mod for about $15 for asm's and euroreefs both.
