Alright, did a little archival searching, found the thread on the 6 FOOT long worm that munched
soft corals.

So, one of the pictures on that thread is of a Eunice spp. annelid worm, and danged iffen that ain't what I got in my tank

. Dr. Ron noted that some are predatory and some ain't (strictly scavengers). I haven't lost any soft corals (yet), but I don't want to neither, and there's a beautiful blue ricordea that lives right above this worm's burrow. How do I tell if it's harmless (and plans to STAY that way)? Do I just dissassemble all 140 pounds of live rock to bag the sucker (probably killing multitudinous other organisms in the process)? Is there some sort of trap that'll work on this thing? I think it's about 8-10 inches long about now. Please tell me they're not hermaphroditic!!!! Do I get IN the tank with a bang stick?? I know that bristle worms are generally considered beneficial, but there are bristle worms and there are
BRISTLE WORMS !!!! Plus, this thing is just plain plug ugly, if my wife knew it had the potential to be way longer than she is tall, I'd be looking for a new hobby
