Enough light for bulb anemone?

Would 192wt PC be sufficiant light for a bulb anemone? The tank is 30 gallons, with a DSB, tank is about 12" deep. Aside from live rock he will be the only inhabitant. I also have a dual 65w fixture i could also add along with the 192w if needed....Thanks----Tracy

192w would be ok but 130w more would be great, so go ahead and add the dual 65w fixture but watch out for more heat.

No problem, anemones require high light and with the extra fixture you can also keep some other species that require high levels of lightning. I have a 192w fixture over my 30g tank and everything is doing great(soft corals and SPS).

I have a Sabae anemone...at the BOTTOM of my 72gln, and I only have 4x96watts of PC light. He's doing great! (pretty brown, and not very colorful, but still). So I'd say that's good enough lighting!

That will do but whats else is important is that you had the tank running for at least 9 months.

The tank is 13 months+ old......It housed a dwarf lion for 11 months which I recently lost.... ......The tank has been empty for 2 months, I think its time to add a new critter.
