enough flow for my 29?


i've got a maxi jet 1200 for my main pump. you think i should add another one? i was thinking of adding, another, like a maxi jet 600...

I've got a Maxijet 600, Rio 400, and flow coming from my canister filter and skimmer. Way more then enough IMO.

That really depends, what kind of coral are you keeping?

My 15G had 3 100 GPH pumps on a wave maker, a 500GPH closed loop, and a Maxi 1200, but it was SPS.

i wanna keep some zoos, polyps, a brain, candy leather
oh and something so that a ocellaris can host with. ie: torch or something.

I think you could go with another MJ1200, that would give you about 20X turnover and it would be about perfect for your type of tank.

Ended up with two 1200's in my 29g before I gave it away to a friend. I was worried about too much flow but they were just right. I let a HoB just run on the back empty as well except for floss or carbon now and then.
