Emerald Crabs

Do they get along with each other?

Any danger to reefs? SPS? Clams?

Thanks.

I have a few in my 50, theyu get along with each other fine, I have seen them messing with my Zoa's but they don't seem to eat them. they haven't bothered any clams, and they don't touch the SPS, though one thought he was an acro crab for a bit, the coral didn't care.

I had these a couple times and they never seemed to bother corals. The only downside was they never survived longer than a couple months.

I picked one up and it seems to have a taste for bryopsis which I am currently having troubles with. If they are reef safe I'd like to pick up a couple more.

My new crab, Wizard, seems to have sleared a 4x4 patch of bryopsis in a couple of days. Think he needs a buddy.

I have several emeralds in my 135 and they get along fine with each other, clams, corals, etc. I've never had an issue with them and they keep the undesirable algae population down.
