Elegance are lagoonal dwelling corals that generally live on the sediment, often in turbid water. They live in shallow bright water with easy currents rather than the violent surges SPS seem to prefer. They need to be fed a couple times a week. In the past couple years they have not had the success they had in the past,,possibly due to poor handling at the collection stage, os starving because of the more efficiant skimmers in use now, no one knows for sure
