Eels anyone?

I saw this link on eels and they look like an awsome addition to my tank before I start over again. I have a 65g would that be too small, I would like to put in the pipes under the sand bottom like he did aswell for the eel. Can anyone tell me about ?

They like to try to escape, and you have to personally feed them. It seems like something I wouldnt keep up on. But I think something like a snowflake would stay small enough and mild mannered enough to be fine to keep with fish bigger than his head.

Escape! that would be a problem, well I could put up some chicken wire on the back of my canopy so air could still be flowing through... Oh here's the link!

You can also use eggcrate. but Ive also read that some people have never had the problem. My LFS has a totalyl open top on the tank with their eels. But its better safe than sorry.

yes, the ribbon eels are very cool
but they almost always starve in captivity
that is one of the few that do eat

I had a banded snake eel that was very cool and it would fit in a 65
most are blind as a bat
most are reefsafe
but, your clean-up crew in on their menu
