Ebay Sellers
Hi all, so I was doing some research last night and came across the most random thing. Live corals on Ebay. I know that on Ebay you can sell almost anything you'd like, but live corals....really???
SO then I was reading the reviewers comments and almost everyone had good things to say about the corals they received. I just want to know if anyone here has tried this and had luck with it? There are a lot of things on there I'd like to get my hands on but my local stores never have in stock.

I might recommend looking at places like www.liveaquaria.com and www.pacificeastaquaculture.com before starting on ebay if you have not looked there already. They are great sites.

I know Wolfe4372 (megan) just recently got some corals from an ebay seller and she said they looked happy and healthy when they got there. They were Nano friendly though (low light, low flow). Getting a more difficult coral might be more of a crap shoot.

I've recently bought some eBay corals, and it went really well. Contact the seller before you buy, but as long as they're responsive with good feedback I'd do it again. I bought from this seller;

Thanks for this. I did look into liveaquaria but it just seems so expensive for me right now and until I update my lights I'm planning on getting some small frags to feed my addiction.

my corals were very happy when they got here. i bought from a guy that had a lot of good responses as well as a lot of history period.
he kept good comunication with me the whole time, and it actually took abut a week, because i ordered christmas night.
so far they are doing good and only one fell off a mount. i have to super glue it back today

Do you remember the screen name for him? I'd love to take a look at what he has.

I've gotten CUC (snails mostly) from a few different sellers and my experience has been mixed. Almost all of the snails were super small. I have to say though they all had great cs and packed the items very well.
+1 to checking feedback and # of sales.

One of the sponsors of this site, Reef Empire, sells things on EBay quite often as well. I have heard very good things about those transactions but have not participated myself yet.

That's why I love coming to this site. Everyone is so quick to help out and you all keep me from doing stupid things. I'm going to give it a shot and will hopefully have a success story to tell.

most sellers on e bay are good sellers,You will always have a few bad apples in any group, You just have to look at the seller, feedback and what they sell, do your homework before clicking on the buy it button
