Dwarf Lions, Dendrochirus zebra can get to 8"
Pterois sphex can reach 9" and is sometimes sold as a dwarf, similar to D zebra but less pronounced webbing in the pectoral fins.
Sedentary ambush feeders, they will be Ok in a 30g for a year or two depending on growth rate. Try to get one thats weaned off live food, FW fish such as goldfish feeders are not good for these guys, frozen silversides or shrimp chunks fortified with selcon would be better. They have a tendancy to over eat given the chance, a fairly large meal every few days is better than small tidbits constantly. Being carnivores they tend to produce a lot of waste so good filtration amnd frequent water changes are needed. Even the small fish are to be handled cautiously, they are venomous and no fun to get PO'd
