Dr's Foster and Smith...

Any thoughts on these guys? Do any of you know a coupon code for their site? Are there better places to shop?

I was trying to put an order together with them, but before I "checkout" I was looking for reassurance...or a place for a better deal with good quality.

Yeah, totally great service, they'll always give you the benefit of the doubt. I had a scratched tank, carriers fault, and Drs.Foster and Smith paid for the tank to be shipped back and a new one sent. Very helpful never had any problem contacting them. Good help as well. Live aquariua is top notch as well. I will be using them for everything. Peace.

awsome site for both drygoods and livestock. I have been using them for years and have never had a bad experience. Once, I ordered two bucket of reef crystals and received instant Ocean instead. When I called, they verified that it was a shipping mistake on their part and at first were going to pay to have the two wrong buckets sent back. In the end, they told me I could keep the two bucket of IO free and shipped me two more buckets of reef crystals. Awesome customer service.

Yes, this is a great site, I placed an order one time, got an email a day later saying that they were out of a couple of fish and they credited me the shipping charges. Then a couple of days later they emailed and were still out and they credit me the entire price of the order, I still got the entire order. Can't guarantee that they will do it again but it was great. Another order had a fish DOA, they gave credit without question... I would definitely recommend them...

I'll second all the responses! Good customer service, good place to deal with, basically if something happens they will take care of it for you. Haven't ordered fish from them but about 100lbs of live rock and that stuff was awsome.

There last code was "DODGE" maybe they are still accepting it.

I use them, marine depot and premium aquatics depending on price and shipping offers. I've had such good luck with their live aquaria section over the past five or six years, they are the only place I get fish from.

Very very good. I have bought all my fresh and saltwater supplies from them over the past 7 years. They have fast shipping and the shipping prices IMO are unbeatable. Their customer service is the best that I have ever had experience with. If something is wrong they will replace it no questions asked with new item or a refund. You can't go wrong with them.
