Dropped Feathers....is it dead?

Feather duster dropped its feathers.....is it dead? Just added some nice clean sea water (from the Atlantic...)...is there any hope? Do feathers grow back like shrimp claws???? Help!

The "feather" palps do grow back.
If the worm survives.

The 'feathers' usually drop off when subjected to severe stress. That seawater seems to be th likely cause: did you drip it in slowly, and before that, check for pH and temp conformity with the display water?
