Drilling a 29g

How many times can you safely drill the back of a tank befor it gives out under hydrostatic pressure???? The reason I ask is that I have a 29 in the shed, an old 150mh pendant and an old Orbit PC w/ 2x65w. I want to make a high flow BB SPS tank w/ sump. I don' believe the bottom is tempered so I'll send my overflow through the bottom. I want to drill 2 returns into the top two corners, but this is optional. I may just come over the top with the return. But I do ned to drill the back for a CLS inlet and I want to return the CLS in both bottom back corners of the back glass. Will it hold up or should I just put up with looking at a ton of plumbing?

3 holes? I think it should be fine. I think u are supposed to give urself atleast one hole size distance from the next. In other words, if u drill a 1 inch hole then u need a space of 1 inch before u drill the next hole.

I have drilled 3 40mm holes in my 20 and its been fine.
They are about 2 inches apart. It holds three heaters, hang on for Rowa, and a hang skimmer.

You could easily do one hole in each corner plus your cls intake (I'm assuming the glass is at least 1/4"). Just make sure that you stress the glass as little as possible when the plumbing is in.

I think I might actually come up through the bottom of the tank in each back corner with my sump return and run my CLS from a bulkhead in the back and up over the top with lock line for more flow options. Thanks guys. It's just a 29 not like I am looseing a whole lot if it breaks.
