dragon goby?
Anyone have one? Just wondering cuz we have a few at the LFS and I watched them all weekend while I worked... they were kindof cool...do they sift and then spit the sand all over the tank or sift and then just let it spill where they are? Also, do they eat the good stuff out of the sandbed?

oh... well, maybe I will rethink one then... seeing as I have that really really fine pulverized limestone, I would probably always have a milkshake going on...

they are cool but they will decimate your sandbed and then die. i don't recommend them in a tank less that 200+ gallons with a deep sand bed

I agree, they are way cool but need to eat constantly and like poor mandarin gobies they eventually starve to death. I'd pass them up, unfortunately....

I have a bullet goby and have had him for a cpl of yrs now I think they may be the same thing. I like him even tho he is a little scary at times. He does clean the sand all day and he did kill two brain corals he would completly cover them with sand several times a day . They dont like any corals on the btm but he also ate red algae when I had it.

yeah, they like to scoop the sand up and drop it all over everything. get a crosshatch, they sift at the bottom and mine eats frozen food.
