DOUBLE ENDED FEATHER DUSTER?

got a cool surprize today when i got back from my road trip today,,,,was putting my new pair of mandarin's in, along with my new feather duster in my 75 ,got it because it had a nice rose colored plume to it,,,(plus i knew the wife would like it ! )i put it in the sand ,with the end that looked like the plume out, and did a water change/glass clean,,in my moving things around and the water movement, the feather got uncovered ,,,put it back in the sand ,and i quess i left both ends uncovered, and later , when i was done and checked things out,, BOTH ends had a plume on it!COOL! has anyone ever hear of this before? thought it was a plus to what i paid for ,,,,two for one,,,some times you luck out!

Sometimes the tubes of the worms will grow together and you can't really separate them (Siamese Tubes???). Sounds like these ones may have attached at the "bottom"

Alice,could be,,,,will have to look closer next the chance arises. if there are two joined together,they made one heck of a seam!

I've seen 2, 3 or 4 joined together in clusters, looking like tree branches. I've never heard of double-headed(tailed?) Sabellastarte but who knows, maybe yours came from Bikini Atoll???
