Doomed turbinaria

I have had some good luck with turbinaria (I have a nice cup and a pagoda) so when I saw a small yellow scroll turbinaria frag at my LFS i snapped it up. It seemed to initially pick up a but with new polyps forming at the growing edge. lately though the tissue has started to receed again. Do you think it is doomed? Are my exisiting turbinaria colonies likely to be afftected. My parameters (Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH, and calcium) are fine although I am in the process of raising my KH.
My other turbinaria look fine as well as all my other LPS and softies.
Is ther anything I can try to do to save it?

Bummer. They are pretty tough corals even though I've never had one try and overgrow the tank.

Its only my second coral loss in 4.5 years so I dont suppose Im doing too bad. I thought corals were supposed to be the sensitive one, I have lost far more fish and inverts.

same here on the fish and inverts, sorry to here abt the loss. i had to put my pagoda cup in a friends tank because the polyps hadn't come out for 2 months. he is having a little better luck, but not by much.
