Dont let salt creep fall on corals!

While cleaning my tank salt creep broke loose and fell on my plate coral. I blew it off as soon as I noticed but the damage was already done. The tissue in those spots disolved. The coral is otherwise healthy so I am hopeful it will grow back but wanted to let those like me who don't know this could happen know.

Shoot...I just had some fall into a few zoos last night. I'll have to check it out when the lights come on.

And thanks for the tip...I hope your plate comes back!!

With the flow in my tank, nothing could fall into the tank and fall straight down!

What do you do to catch salt creep when cleaning surfaces inside the tank?

He's doing great. The tissue has grown back tho it is still thin. Sure he will make a full recovery.

Normally I try and watch were it falls so if it hits the corals I can clean it off. This time I just didnt see it hit the plate and by the time I noticed it was too late.
