Does size matter?

When it comes to bristle worms, that is?

Last night after I fed our BTA, I saw a HUGE bristle worm attempt to steal the food from out of the BTA (I beat him back with a chopstick). I mean, this thing is probably 10 inches long and thicker around than a nightcrawler.

Is this bad? I am happy the bristle worms eat all the dead and decaying stuff in the tank, so if it's okay, great, but man, this thing was HUGE. Pretty scary looking to be honest.

It might indicate that you feed too much. But, other than that it really isn't anything to worry about.

oh you mean about the bristle worm?

thats a big one wow
i have a few but they arent that large. about 5" maybe
ive always suspected them of scaring my clownfish at night, three clowns jumped in just a few short months, something thats never happend before until those worms started to grow
