Does Chaeto need to be anchored to anything?

I've converted the middle chamber of my BC 29 into a refugium and I recently picked up some Chaeto from the LFS. All they had was a golfball sized clump but at 25 cents I couldn't say no.

Enough back story! There is alot of turbulance in the middle chamber that is knocking the chaeto all over the place, does it need to be anchored to a piece of rubble or is it fine being tumbled all over the refugium?

Tumbled is fine. I actually like mine spinning slowly in my fuge, but when it gets bigger than a basketball it tends to stop and its time for me to prune it back

It's best to tumble, actually. that way light gets to all portions of the chaeto.
