does anything eat cyano???
ok im on about the 4th week of my cyano bloom and really getting sick of it. i only have 2 fish, ive barely been feeding them, i skim wet, do waterchanges every week. trates 0, phosphates 0according to tests. i run a dsb system although the dsb is only about a month old. really starting to annoy me. seriously. does any critters eat cyano?

or if cyano is bacteria, can i get some kind of antibiotic to kill it?

Ok i had a pencil urchin that would eat anything in his path even cyano. This is not a fix just a coverup. You have to find out where the source is coming from.

for the life of me i cant figure out the source!! its ever since i switched out my cc for sand. had very very small amounts of it before the change, now i blow it off syphon it out, and get home the next day to it covering EVERYTHING AGAIN

Interesting, I thought you were joking at first but I guess not. I didn't think anything, other than a clean tank, could get rid of Cyano. I don't have a problem anymore but I'll have to keep that in mind.
