Here is a website for the software that it works with ..... http://www.draquarium.com/ I tried demo and seems nice

I think I'm going to get it.... and test it. seems better than aquacontroller JR. and you don't have to buy expensive modules for it and you can have it send you alarm emails or SMS ...

It is not a controller but rather an interface. It does not run standalone and must be connected to a PC constantly. The PC is where all the programming is run from and it must be left running 24/7.

Thats a critical piece of info Jadinop, esp for some one that doesn't have and old "obsolete" puter laying around, but I suspect that a lot of us have and old bos that could run this stuff, shoot I even still have the old 486 I used when TRT first became TRT, and a few old Pentium 120-200 mgh laying around

Your experiences with PC's must be different then mine. I'm certainly not trusting my tank to a PC running any version of Windows. Hopefully, you have a Mac.

By the time you purchase all of the X10 modules, ph and temp probes and any other necessary parts, you will be over the price of the Aquacontroller Jr. with much less functionality.

You will also be limited by the length of the parallel cable that will be required to connect this interface to your PC. Your tank and computer will need to be within 15ft of each other.
