Great Recovery I like the thread it is great reading and great pics. The tank looks marvlious.

Just some info for you. the black puddy stuff you used in the end caps there is a liquid black tape we use on the boat for sealing sodder joints for the electronics we have never had any problems with it the had been no creep or corosion of the wires.

Another update.
I spent the weekend trying to tune my calcium reactor. My CO2 cylinder ran out and I had to get it refilled. Since I have reconnected it to my system, I've been having a devil of a time getting the regulator regulated to an appropriate CO2 flow that will maintain the reactor at the 6.8 pH that I want. No matter how much I dial it, when I try to fine tune it with the needle valve ... I get a good bubble rate for a little while, then it starts slowing down gradually until it finally stops. It keeps doing this.
