Do tube anemones move around?

Do Cerianthus (tube anemones) move around the tank as other anemones or will they stay put in a deep sandbed?

i can not say positive yes but most can , the foot does bury pretty deep if it can.

from what i have read , they are pretty cool and come variuos colors too. i think they get mistakened form apitsia.

i wonder if a DSB would be needed for them?

I had one for about 6 months... they do not move, they bury most of their body in the sand, keeping only their tentacles out of it and STAY there. At night they really extend and become longer and more open to feed. They can and will eat small fish if not kept fed. I just recently gave mine away and it is still doing fine.

---I think I will pass on the anemone for now. --Waiting for a bigger tank----Especially since I just got 2 baby black clowns. I would freak if I lost one.
