Do toadstool's have mouths?

I have a very large toadstool, the top plate area is about 10-12 inches diameter when fully opened and the stock is about 4 inches diameter. I just noticed today that in the middle of the top plate part, there is a hole that is pretty much centered above the stalk. If it wasn't centered over the stock, i'd be thinking my toadstool was dying. His polyps aren't out. All water param's are good. Any ideas? At one time, I did suspect this guy ate a lawnmower blenny that used to perch on top of it. If this really is a mouth, then I'm pretty sure he did. Anyways, thanks for your input.

No, they don't have mouths, just pylops. Sometimes mine will pull his in for a week then shed and open back up again.

How long has yours been closed up?
