Do tank raised clowns host anemones?

I know in the wild that clowns instinctively host anemones. My question is do tank raised clowns also host? Not to sound foolish, but how do they know--or attempt to host---instinct?

Instinct is what drives most of their actions.

Agree with pnkpanther, Depends on the individual fish.

Theories are that it isn't instinctual, but learned; one reason why tank bred rarely host on their own.

It depends on the fish too. i have seen many false percs will only host in a RBTA otherwise they seem to go for different coral.

Had a rose BTA that split and the matched pair of tank raised osc. clowns each camped out in one. We were lucky I guess but it took only a couple of days.
