Do Mag drive pumps have oil in them?

Do Mag drive pumps have oil in them? I think I've got oil coming from a Mag5 that supplies my skimmer, but I thought mag drive pumps didn't have oil in them?
Thanks!

Hmmmmmm I am not aware thate they do, they seem to be the typical salt safe epoxycoated armature and field coil construction. If anyone has another view point speak up

Maybe it's ground up plastic. I have a Mag 7 on my RO transfer pump and I left it running after topoff refill a few nights ago, and with both suction and discharge closed, after 8 hours or so there was a black residue in the discharge hose. Oops.

Hi yb! Oops & Yikes!! That Mag's history. I'm sure my problem was oil, though. I took it out and no more oil. Guess the Mags must have some kind of oil in them.
