Do bubble corals "split"?

My bubble coral is kind of gaping, but then when I looked in the middle there are 2 mouths. It is very healthy, but a little aggressive with the tentacles lately. I started feeding it along with the anemones.

if it is a branching type, there will be a point where it grows from one head to two, thats how a new branch is made, but i wouldnt exactly call it splitting, although it probably is.

Maybe it is just HUNGRY! It is ginormous!

I think mine is getting ready to split again too. This will be the second time since I've had it. (about 6 months)

I had the hardest time with my bubble to the point that I had to give it away to save it. I seem to be able to keep every other type of coral so far but that one I just had bad luck with. Out of curiousity what do you feed it?

I never really fed it anything until it started to get aggressive. I take a turkey baster and shoot anything from Rod's frozen, to mysis, to (recently) freeze dried brine soaked in selcon. It definately chows down whatever I feed it.
They do not like a ton of flow
