DIY glass aquarium

How thick should my glass be for a 180 gal tank? 72 x 24 x 24. I have read 3/8"

most I have seen are 3/8".

Why are you making one?

i'd think for a piece of mind I'd buy one. YOu can find them at real great prices some times. Try glasscages.com they have sweet deals on large tanks. Quality is not the best, but it's probabaly still better then doing it yourself

is their tank quality bad or something? I checked it out, and they seem really cheap, but I don't know what to do.

I think that is thin for that size of tank , You want 1/2 inch,
