mike,
if you can a picture will be good.
there is a problem some where and we need to fix it.
isit a clear "air" bubble?
IF so, here are some things to look for and some things that MIGHT happen.
the bubble coudl have come from , small air bubbles with in the tank, most likly form the skimmer, check to see if this is so.. i have had two fish get a bubble this way. what happens is the bubbles stick to the fish. then are adsorbed in to the skin. they work there way up to the eye. sometimes it will be slowly adsorbed in to the fish and nothign will happen, other times it will dry the membrane of the eye out and a hard "shell like" lens will be there forever. the fish will go blind in that eye.
another way is ..the fish is gulping air when he goes to eat food from the surface of the tank. easy fix.. make sure you use sinking pellets or make sure the food is released in the water not on top. the gulping of the air is basicllay a gas emblism

of course you could also be looking at "pop eye" Exophthalmia this is usally a bacteria infection and should be treated with the appropiate meds in a QT tank!!!!..
some time you could be looking at parasite infection but you would also see other problems.. also water quality and if he is a new guy to the tank can raise some problems like this. one other thing that coudl possible cause this is Fish TB.. but you dont really see too much with that..

SOooooooooo.. a picture wil be the biggest help right now and lookng at the tank as a whole.

HTH

So does this mean that he will most likely lose sight in his one eye? Poor guy! I know it may be torturous but can it be poped by netting him and kinda just smooshing it??

So salinity can play an issue in this? My water parameters are beautiful, after a round of testing today!! I am thinking that this happened at the LFS and is now showing here for some reason.

water parameters can play a factor in it. if you see any discolorazation in the eye you need to treat him in a QT tank. if the eye stays clear and the bubble stays clear then it should ...should.... slowly be adorbed into the fish.

Well its clear and I have had the fish now since Friday. He didnt have that bubble from the store so i am thinking that he got it in the transfer from there to here which is 60 miles. Not sure. I will keep and eye on him.
