detaching anemones

I have a green bulb anemone, and he's getting too close to my flowerpot (Goniopora) coral. Is there a way to detach the anemone and move him without any damage?

There was another thread on here about that a couple of weeks ago on that. Some people mentioned using a powerhead to blow on the base and it would detach itself. I would try that unless anyone here objects or has another idea.

yup--that was me!

Powerhead aimed at the base did it....came off in about 15 min.
It will look pretty beat up but it will be fine...worked like a charme

While doing research on anemones i read that using an icecube at the base was a safe way, but I have no experience in that area, I'm as new of a newbie as they come. Anyone else heard that?

Do not use an ice cube...god only knows what's in that frozen block...unless you want to freeze some RO/DI water.

Trust me with the powerhead.

Thanks. One more question...what do I do if my BTA isn't sticky? He can't grab onto any meaty foods because he's not sticky enough. My water is pH 8.1, no ammonia, low nitrites and nitrates, salinity 1.022, calcium 440 ppm
