don't do it. also, a 20 long isn't enough tank for a clam over a couple of inches either. i have a 110 and have 4 clams and consider that overloaded. i have corals to fill the spaces i can't fill with clams. get at least a 55 and put some metal halides and vho's over it. if you've had a hammer for more than a couple of months and the branches haven't split then you are not growing coral you're just keeping it alive. get a bigger tank and better lighting and you will be amazed at the difference you will see in the livestock you already have.
