derasa clam care? 72w pc

Hey at the fish store the guy said the derasa clam has the best shot at thriving in a 72w 24 gal tank. I put the derasa right at the top, I mean directly under the lights.... will this be enough? Also I got some phytoplankton to feed it every three days or so.

Any other advice you can give me would be MUCH appreciated!!! I am new at this and I know clams require a lot of light and good water quality. My water params are great but the light is just barely enough.
