Deltec MCE600

I got this Deltec MCE600 skimmer yesterday by FedEx and was excited, but now I am ready to ship this piece of junk back to them. The skimmer has to break-in I know, but at first it flooded with foam and now it want make foam and if you ever turn the thing off expect to tear it down and throw the pump direction switch everytime!! I hope somebody out in TRT land can help before I go crazy!!!!!!!!!!!! I have followed the directions to a tea and can't get this over priced junk to work very disapponited in this product.

I contacted Doug at Deltec and I have a bad pump so maybe things will get better and I can start skimming! I just wanted everybody to know they were quick with a solution and very nice, I didn't want people thinking I was bashing there name.

Doug is a great guy to deal with! When I read the first post I was shocked, but then saw the second one. Although I think Deltec is over priced plastic, their customer service is great

I can understand the frustration.

The air valve can be lil touchy to setup at first till you find the right spot,
but having a bad pump would really throw a wrench into the works for you.

Glad to see your getting it taken care of.
