Damsel vs. Chromis
Just a curious ? I've heard alot of talk about the agressiveness of damsels when they set their territory and wondered if damsels and green/blue chromis were in the same group or are chromis easier to keep, basically whats the difference.

yeah they are in the same group. And i think damsels are more agresive. But not all though. Some damsels are more aggresive than others. I think the most Aggresive Damsels are the 3 stripe and the maroon clown and the least aggresive is the yellow tail. The green chromis are nice addition though and you can add them as a school. they mostly stay up in the water coloum. my friend added 4 in his tank and they are always together swiming i the same direction

I think the most aggressive damsel is the blue damsel. Mine killed 3 other damsels from so much stress. All he would do is chase them everywhere.

Ive never heard of chromis being aggressive. Ask to see them eat before buying. If you get chromis that are eating they are very hardy and peaceful fish.

Chromis are very cool. Mine have never bothered anything. Meanest Damsel, my vote would be three stripe and three spot. Take your pick.

as everyone has said they are in the same family line. they are a bit more mellow, but they will have their own hierachy. you should slowly see one become larger and fatter then the others. if you have some nice caves and swim throughs for them they will swim all around your tank

I have found the blue devil and black and gold to be the mean ones. Have not had dominos but I heard they are mean. I now have 4 stripes, fiji and yellow tails and they are not so bad. Also have chromis and they are easy going. I keep several of each type which I think helps.
