Damsel question


i have a 55 with a false perc and 3 chromis

how many damsels can I add without causing some fights. i was thinking about 6 or more.

touchy subject
I had a 72 gal with 12 damsels in it, no porblems with anyone in the tank
had a wrasse and a blenny in there as well

but I could not add any other fish

what kind of damsels are you thinking?

easy answer:
don't add damsels.

they're mean and cheap and hard to catch. when a $3 damsel kills you $$$ tang you'll be upset.

Yep, I have one and he's too many. He is a smart fish too. Have yet to trap him.

ive had a yellow tail damsel in my tank for about 2 years now. He has moved thru 5 tanks and he is still cool. At first he would pick on all new comers but now he is really quite and hangs with my Gn cromis

BTW ive had domino,3 stripe,yellow tail,and green chromis and the only once that survided were the yellow and chromis

I have a yellow tail, 4 green chromus and a talbot damsel. The talbot and chromus get along better than the yellow tail but the yellow tail has not been a problem
