cutting eggcrate

How do you cut eggcrate? It seems very brittle and I would like to have a nice neat job.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hey Tangirl,
I used an electric saber saw on mine...use a fine blade. You can also use a hacksaw.

I've used diagonal cutters with good results.

I take a little hand saw and cut as far down as I can. I take a screwdriver and just smack down the row and break the pieces and sand them smooth. Works for me mostly because I dont like the loud sound of powertools.

I use wire cutters, then use a pair of pliers to break off the subbs left by the cutting.

Wire cutters and a Coping saw, followed by some sand paper to smooth it up!
