Cuke Nuke

My wife just called me into the livingroom because the whole system just got real cloudy. I think one of my Sea Cucumbers either bit the dust or released something. They are the "atlantic" cucumbers (cat turd?) variety. They are supposed to be non-toxic. I found one of the 2 I keep in the peppermint refugium all shriveled up and the whole system is cloudy. Nothing seems to be stressing out or acting funny. I think one of the peps may have been trying to have it for dinner. I have the shriveled up one in a specimen container to see if it is actually dead or just doing it's thing.

I put a carbon bag in the sump and I'm going to head to Wally World to see if they have some sort of pump/filter I can use to clear up the system. I'm also running fresh RO/DI water to do a change when I get back. It is getting clearer since I put the carbon in the sump. We have a Wally world supercenter across the river in AL (open 24/7) , hopefully they have more than the local wally world.

Does this sound like a cucumber dumping it's insides or whatever they do? Do I need to worry about this or is it safe to let it clear up? Thanks...

Fish all acting ok? Do you have corals in the tank that could have spawned, anything like that?

When our tiger tail that did NOT get caught in the return pump (we had about 4 of them when that happened) was still alive and removed from the tank, it expelled a bunch of thread-like white stringy things from it's intestines, or near what I think would be its intestines.

I don't remember the water being real cloudy, even though the pump had been off a couple of hours...the fish died VERY quickly, all but three, one of the three was all but dead, but recovered.

I just got back from wally world and you can't even tell anything happened in the tank. Water's just about completely cleared up already. I do have corals but I doubt any of them spawned... lol I had found one of the cukes all shriveled up and I'm assuming that's where it came from. It just happened so suddenly. I had just left the room and the tank was fine when Vikki called me back into the room 5 minutes later saying the tank had just gotten all cloudy. Everything in all of the tanks are fine, no color loss on the tangs, mandarine is eating as well as the tangs are picking at everything like usual. All of the pods in the one refugium seem fine, all of the peps are fine. No dead snails. I suppose the snails could have decided to let loose as get down.

I did find a cuke all shriveled up, although everytime I look at it now it's in a slightly different position. I don't know if it's still alive or not. I put it in a 10G tank I have with nothing else in it right now. There seems to be some stringy stuff sticking out one end of the cuke. We'll see.
